Project type

Date

Loved diving into the cosmos for this one. Tessering was done with light and sound, but the heart-nebula was a wonderful minimalist way to go from place to place. A circle of chalk on the floor was the transparent tube, and the rest was a bench and a chair -- the heart moving up and back on the track and able to spin provided all the alterations we needed. Special thanks to Stephen Ellerbeck for building it.
And what a delight to explore color and personality for each character through costumes. Empowering the ensemble to don a half mask and finger lights for the expositional transitions was a great way to weave them into the story.
Overall, a true adventure intergalactic adventure of the heart.
