Oh what joy when we dug up our backyard and put in an ever increasing plot of possibility. Each year the garden would expand and rich composted soil when get darker and laden with more nutrients. Gardening in Southern Alberta is risky because of hail and frost, but it was always a welcome place to go feel connected to the earth and to the wonder of life.
