I was so, so grateful to get to participate in this powerful, deftly written piece. And overjoyed to get to do it in my home town of Eugene. Portraying Charlotte was a heavy privilege and working with the team was wonderful -- being in rehearsal was water to my actor soul.
I was proud of this production and would do it again in an instant.
I love how you got to follow the mother of the convicted rapist and track her learning and struggle and identify with her trauma and longing and eventual courage.
